Christmas TAG!

Hello Everyone!

Merry Christmas! I hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday, best wishes to all of you. I hope it's full of love and smiles. Anyway, here is my Christmas TAG! I tag all of you to answers these in the comment section, I would absolutely love to read them.


1. Do you like to stay in your PJ’s, or dress up for Christmas?
I like to dress up for Christmas, I can only recall one year where I didn't! 

 2. If you could only buy one person a present this year, who would it be?
That is a very difficult choice, but my mom. Haha.

 3. Do you open your presents Christmas Eve or Christmas morning?
The tradition in my family is to celebrate on the 24th of December and then we open our gifts at mid-night, but open Santa gifts in the morning. :-)

4. Have you ever built a Gingerbread house?
Yes, but only once.. didn't go very well. Haha.

 5. What do you like to do on your Christmas break?
I like to take time for myself during Christmas break(yoga, vlogging, painting), focus on my family, and plan.. but this year it has been hectic. Specially with school and work so not much of a break. Not complaining, but all well :-)

 6. What’s your favorite Christmas meal or treat?
I would have to say, hazelnut cappuccino & caramel popcorn!

7. What’s your favorite holiday movie?
Another difficult question, but Elf! I have to admit that the ending still makes me emotional. Haha.

 8. Candy Canes or Gingerbread Men?
Gingerbread men are so good and adorable :-)

 9. Have you ever made a snowman?
Despite that I live in Texas, US at the moment which means no snow.. I use to live in Iowa, US and we got A LOT of snow every winter so YES!

 10. Which do you like better, Christmas Eve or Christmas Day?
BOTH :-)

11. White lights, or colored lights?
White lights definitely! I currently have them in my room.

12. What is your favorite Christmas song?
ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS YOUUUU ;-)

Hello Everyone! I would like to bring this protest to your attention. If you have not yet heard of the Driscoll's protest here is an insight. These immigrant workers are out in the scorching sun picking fruit for about $6 an hour for 12-15 hours! They are being treated terribly and harassed every day. IMAGINE how much bravery it took for them to come together and tell authorities. Not only are they being assaulted while trying to work (including child workers), but they are being threatened and the employers refuse to negotiate with them for better working conditions and salaries. These people are the backbone of America and some don't seem to want to understand that. Look around you; your gardener, school janitor, construction worker, ect. They are all part of the immigrant labor force because they have families to provide for. They are WORKING they are trying to survive. These people deserve EQUALITY and to be treated better. JUNETEENTH! Why is it a celebration?

Hello everyone! Today I'm writing about Juneteenth, this celebration dates back to 1865. On June 19th, the Union soldiers landed at Galveston, Texas and the news spread that the Civil war had ended and that ALL slaves were now free. I wanted to write about this because a lot  of us are ignorant to our history. It is ALL of our history because our ancestors played a role in the disgraceful act of slavery. Whether we are of European, African, or Aztect/Native. Each and every one of us now has privilege that people of color then and now do not have. Our society has functioned in a strange way since thousands of years ago. The white skinned people (males primarily) were at the top of society, they made the rules about what was legal and illegal. They decided to transport African people to the America's to use them as a free labor force. SUPPORT BLACK-OWNED BUSINESS

Hello everyone! As you all may know, the United States is facing a revolution. We must continue to support Black Lives Matter. RIP George Floyd. Enough with racism and making people endure police brutality! I am completely against any discrimination, especially when it comes to the Black community. Yes, every other civil injustice matters, but be respectful and an ally. No excuses, this is not the time to be weak. Have you ever wondered what you would've done if you were alive during other horrific historical events? Now is your chance! I will not be supporting anything or anyone who sides with the oppressors. Everyone who is not Black can help uplift Black voices. The government fears union and that is what we need. In addition to business/people showing their true colors... if you know me, then you know that I've always hated the brand D*llskill. From stealing designs to supporting racism/oppression.
